The President Joe Biden, assured this Sunday that the United States will retaliate after a drone attack that resulted in the death of three American soldiers and left 25 others injured at a base in Jordan.

“On January 28, three U.S. service members lost their lives and 25 were injured in a unilateral drone strike that struck a base in northeast Jordan near the Syrian border,” U.S. Central Command said in a statement.

Biden stated categorically: “Be in no doubt: we will hold everyone involved accountable at the time and in the way we choose.”
This incident represents the first attack that resulted in casualties among members of the American Armed Forces since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hamas. The government blames the attack on Iranian-backed groups.
