Mariah posted the video on her Instagram account. She can be seen resting in front of the Christmas tree, with her twins Monroe and Moroccan behind her. The children start asking their mother if they have to be with her “every time” she sings the song.

“It’s just being festive… It’s not every…”, Mariah started to reply, but before she continued her sentence, she started singing and began the Christmas song. As she performs the opening notes, the twins dramatically turn away from the camera to avoid another performance of “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.
“Had to do it. Merry Christmas Eve!!”, wrote Carey in the caption, adding a Christmas tree and red heart emojis. The singer also shared other photos of her family celebrating the holiday. In one of them, they’re all posing on a sleigh.
