Giannis Antetokounmpo achieved yet another impressive milestone in the history of the Milwaukee Bucks franchise. That’s because the number 34 surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and became the team’s all-time leading rebounder with 7,165 ball recoveries.

With the new brand, Giannis becomes the player with the most points, assists and rebounds in Bucks history.
Only three other players in history hold the triple crown of records for points, rebounds and assists for their respective franchises: Michael Jordan, for the Chicago Bulls; Kevin Garnett, for the Minnesota Timberwolves; and Lebron James, for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“It’s a great honor. I don’t think anyone imagined that this skinny kid, who was drafted out of Greece and should have played in the G-League, would one day be in a position to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record,” Giannis said after the game.
As a result, Antetokounmpo’s feat happened in the match against the Houston Rockets, last Sunday. In the game, the Greek had 17 rebounds, which was enough to surpass Kareem by four ball recoveries. In addition to his impressive mark, Giannis also added 26 points and three assists.
In addition to his newest achievement, last week, Anteokounmpo also became the highest scorer in a game for the Milwaukee Bucks with 64 points against the Indiana Pacers.
