“There was an idea for Saoirse Ronan and I to do a cameo,” Chalamet said in an interview with The Tonight Show.
“I don’t know what my participation would have been. I think I would have been one of the rejected Kens or Barbies. Not Alan! Maybe there was a rejected Frenchman on the way.”
It’s worth remembering that the actor was part of the cast of director Greta Gerwig’s first two films ‘Lady Bird’ and ‘Little Woman’ so the actor’s participation in Barbie would have made sense, although in the end it didn’t happen.
