Lana Del Rey opened up about her thoughts of starting a family someday, and becoming a mother.

In an interview to The Sunday Times released this Sunday (3), Lana said that “there is more to explore” in her life. “That’s why God didn’t give me children yet. Because there is more to explore. I know people who’ve tested every water. It burnt them, like Icarus. But I’m willing to go there”, she said.

The singer added that she sees herself becoming a mother eventually. “I see it coming for me. We’ll see. We’ll see what melts the wings”. Last month, Del Rey confirmed she was single during an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR. “I feel like even the most chill guy doesn’t really want to chill here. Sadly, part of you knows … that ain’t it. … That one shocked me”.
“I won’t name names and whatever, but that one really shocked me, that person. That was actually the end of a relationship”, she continued. Lana also said that the ex wanted the “idea of her”, instead of who she really is, and that was “a tough nut to swallow”. “I’m learning how. I’m learning. I know what I want”, she added.
