Britney Spears book could be adapted for cinema

Last Sunday (12), through the website The Ankler, the book “The Woman In Me” by Britney Spears, had the possibility of being adapted for the audiovisual world. According to information, the producers of Shonda Rhimes, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon and Margot Robbie are interested in buying rights to the work.

To acquire the biographical rights to the singer’s book, interested parties will have to pay a sum of around eight figures to obtain the adaptation. However, even though talks are still being held, there is no confirmation as to which production company will own Britney Spears’ stories.

The biographical work “The Woman In Me” was recently released, in October, and was considered one of the biggest milestones in the literary industry as it has so far sold one million copies in the United States alone. The book also reached the top of distribution in the United Kingdom, France and Brazil.
