Selena Gomez has spoken out about the time she unfollowed Dua Lipa on Instagram.

In an interview with Fast Company magazine published on Tuesday (3), Selena explained that it was all just an accident. “I was just cleaning up my Instagram a bit. Then someone called me and was like, ‘What happened to Dua?!” said Selena, denying speculation of a feud.

The situation occurred in June, and the day after the accident, Selena publicly supported Dua by wearing a Versace dress that recently launched a collection with the singer. “A little Versace/Dua moment,” wrote Gomez in the caption of the post.
Selena had recently taken a break from social media, in February, after her reaction to a TikTok video made by a fan who insinuated that Hailey Bieber had shared a video with a subtle jab at her. In the video in question, Hailey lip-synced to a viral audio, alongside friends. “I’m going to take a break from social media, because this is a bit silly, I’m 30 and I’m too old for this,” said Gomez explaining her break.
