The model was mad at the social media company X (formerly known as Twitter) after her account was hacked and they failed to resolve the problem in a timely manner. Before officially leaving the app, Cara uploaded two posts to explain what happened.

She wrote that the scammers who hacked her account were using it to sell products under her name. According to Just Jared, they also promised to donate the funds to charity. Cara wrote that she was “furious” for so many people got scammed. “I am going to delete my account so this never happens again.”
Delevingne also assured that although she was leaving X, she will continue being active on her other social media accounts, like Instagram and TikTok.
