In an interview to GQ, the DJ said “I dont think it’s really about me”, and added that “the internet just ran with it”. He and Olivia dated for a few months in 2022, and after the release of the song, many fans started to talk that the lyrics “I should’ve known it was strange/You only come out at night” was about the fact she saw the DJ for after-hours hangs.

Bia explained that they ended things because both of them were busy. “We hung out, we’re both busy, and we ended up not furthering our relationship. There was never any drama, you know?”. He even told GQ that he’s a fan of the song. “The song’s so big and so awesome”.
Despite the rumors, Olivia already had said that she “never wants to say who any of my songs are about”, in an interview to The Guardian earlier this month.
