Now, after decades of speculation and anticipation, The Dark Knight fans will finally have the opportunity to see that dream come to fruition, as Madonna takes on the role of Harley Quinn in “Batman ’89: Echoes #1.” The person responsible for giving life to this exciting endeavor is none other than Sam Hamm, the screenwriter of the two Batman films directed by Tim Burton.
With the skillful art of Joe Quinones, “Batman ’89: Echoes #1” is set for release on November 28th, promising to bring a unique take on the Gothic universe to life. The singer was even seriously considered for the role of the famous villain Harley Quinn, a character who won hearts alongside Jack Nicholson’s Joker in “Batman” (1989), also directed by Burton.
