“I never said anything, but it hurt me. I knew this could happen”, Shakira wrote in the caption. As part of the promotion of the new work, the artist also shared some excerpts of the song: “It wasn’t your fault, it wasn’t my fault. It was the monotony’s fault”.

The Barcelona defender and the Colombian singer officially announced the end of their 12-year relationship on June 4. They are parents to Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.
