Last Sunday (5), Shay Mitchell, 35, revealed the name of her second child with Matte Babel. In a post on Instagram, the actress shared the tribute to her late grandmother.

“Losing the most important person in my life in the same year I welcomed my second daughter has shifted everything for me, but one thing remains steady in my soul – I’m certain they spent time together and that brings me peace and joy. We’re so happy you’re here Rome, named after my best friend, my soulmate, my “person,” my Grandma Romaine”, wrote Mitchell.
She announced in February that her second child was on the way, explaining that the little one’s arrival felt connected to the death of her grandmother the week prior.
According to People, it appears that Shay gave birth about two weeks ago. The couple are already parents to 2-year-old Atlas Noa.
